Supporting local businesses is important to our family, especially when those businesses are owned by people we know and care about. CJR owners Colton and Paige are friends with Smithville & Co. owner Jessica Winkelhausen Smith, and we're proud to support the business she's built right here in our hometown. One of the things we appreciate most is the way Jess gives back to the Loomis community. Smithville & Co. supports local organizations and youth sports, including Del Oro Jr. Golden Eagles Football, where our nephews play! As parents raising our own children in Loomis, we know how much that kind of community involvement means to local families. High-Hand Nursery

High-Hand has been a longtime favorite for our family, and it's one of those places we never get tired of visiting. We love attending the music nights and special events, enjoying the beautiful surroundings, and simply spending time together walking through the nursery. One of our kids' favorite things to do is feed the koi fish! Seeing how much joy something as simple as feeding the koi fish brings our kids is one of those little moments that makes raising our family here in Loomis so special. Between the beautiful gardens, community events, and memories we've made with our children, High-Hand will always be one of our favorite places in Loomis.

The Flower Farm

The Flower Farm is another special place for our family and one we love sharing with friends. We enjoy meeting up with friends, walking around the orchard, and taking in the peaceful countryside setting. It's such a beautiful reminder of what makes living in Loomis so special. One of our favorite traditions is visiting during the holidays for the meet-and-greet with Santa! It's something we look forward to with our children and another opportunity to make those sweet family memories that seem to go by way too quickly. From afternoons spent with friends to holiday traditions with our kids, The Flower Farm is one of those places that makes our hometown feel even more like home.
